Our Founder

Known professionally as Mr. KFM, and also writing under the pen name K.F. McDaniel, he has spent more than a decade balancing his legal career with his passion for storytelling. Mr. KFM's storytelling style is instantly recognizable for its blend of epic fantasy, superhero adventures, and unapologetic sensuality. His stories push the boundaries of visual storytelling, embracing striking, sexy imagery while deliberately stopping short of explicit, X-rated content.

Mr. KFM’s audience has matured over the years, and so have his stories. His journey as an author, however, began with Gift of Time, originally published in 2013. Gift of Time was a relatively clean novel written for teenagers, and it became the book that truly launched his career as an author.

Beginning in 2018, Mr. KFM took Gift of Time on a book tour throughout Africa that continued through 2021. During this period, teams of KFM members traveled to schools to introduce students to the book, promote the love of reading, and emphasize the importance of reading and education. The teams also engaged students through games, discussions, and conversations about the creative writing process. Mr. KFM personally visited and spoke at secondary schools throughout Africa, while also delegating KFM members to represent the movement in schools across the continent, particularly in Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, and Nigeria.

After taking several years away from writing, from approximately 2015 to 2025, Mr. KFM returned to writing with renewed energy. In 2025 alone, he wrote fifteen books, marking a major new chapter in his career. In 2026, he continued that momentum with the release of several notable works, including The Bar of No Return and Lawyer on Astrophysics, which are available on Amazon.

His return to writing has also introduced a new approach to storytelling, one that reflects both the maturity of his audience and the evolution of his voice as an author. This evolution ultimately led to the launch of his 100,000 Words series in 2026.

Inspired by the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” each volume in 100,000 Words tells its story almost entirely through 100 carefully crafted images, demonstrating that a compelling narrative can be told with few, if any, written words. Each book also serves as a visual gateway into the early stages of development of its corresponding film series, offering readers an exclusive glimpse into Stage 1 and Stage 2 production as Mr. KFM works toward launching a full-scale film studio in Uganda and bringing African-inspired fantasy stories to audiences around the world.

The future is bright in Africa.
