Our founder

Kevin Fitzgerald McDaniel (“Mr. KFM”) is an author, songwriter, screenwriter, lawyer, and investor. He was born and raised in California, where he completed his schooling and attended college at California State University, Bakersfield. After graduating, he moved to Arizona to pursue his legal education, earning his law degree from Phoenix School of Law, later known as Arizona Summit Law School. Although the law school is no longer operational, he remains grateful for his time there, as the small private institution provided him with the foundation and tools necessary to pass the bar exam and begin his career as an attorney. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and represents clients nationwide in corporate and U.S. immigration law matters.

Law Soda LLC, managed by Mr. KFM alongside his creative work at KFM Holdings, is an attorney network and legal management company currently based in Jonesboro, Georgia, United States, with plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Uganda in alignment with the broader relocation of KFM Holdings and the development of KFM Films, where Mr. KFM will be based and continue to live and work. Through Law Soda, he provides structured outside general counsel services for small and medium-sized enterprises requiring ongoing legal support without maintaining a full-time in-house legal department. All services are provided remotely. In addition, Mr. KFM advises businesses and individuals in the United States on international relocation strategies, including pathways to live, work, or retire in jurisdictions such as Mexico, Brazil, Jamaica, and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as related processes for obtaining permanent residency and pursuing dual citizenship outside the United States.

He founded KFM Holdings in 2018 following his first trip to Africa, which began in Nigeria and became a defining experience that shaped the company’s mission and long-term direction. Over time, his work expanded across the continent, with deep engagement in East Africa, including Kenya and Uganda, where many KFM Holdings initiatives are now centered. Beyond business, he is committed to education-focused outreach, speaking at schools, colleges, and universities across Africa. He has also authored 20 fantasy novels along with a legal textbook on venture capital and corporate governance, reflecting a continued commitment to storytelling, creative expression, and legal scholarship.

His fantasy novels are available on Amazon by searching “K.F. McDaniel.” Due to mature themes in many of his books, reader discretion is advised. These works are recommended for readers aged 18 and above. His legal textbook on venture capital and corporate governance can also be found on Amazon by searching “Kevin F. McDaniel, J.D.” For readers outside of Amazon’s service areas, copies may be requested by emailing kfmbooksglobal@gmail.com.

For much of his journey, he describes experiencing an internal tension between creative expression and business law. Rather than choosing between the two, he ultimately embraced both, continuing to build KFM Holdings and KFM Films while growing Law Soda. He views these ventures not as competing paths, but as complementary dimensions of a unified vision.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. KFM values time with his family, including his wife, Tina Flame, and their two children. He often shares that Tina Flame is the only woman he has ever felt compelled to give a nickname, with “Tina” derived from Christine and “Flame” reflecting her striking presence and energy. She embraced the name with enthusiasm, using it as her model name and ultimately as the name of her fashion brand, The Tina Flame Collection.

Mr. KFM’s connection to Africa remains a defining influence in both his personal and professional life. With longstanding ties across the continent, particularly in East Africa, he looks forward to returning once again to further develop KFM Films, the most ambitious project under the KFM Holdings umbrella.
